Due to unforeseen circumstances, I missed Monterey Car week entirely this year. Normally I go out there for a few days, take in a few formal events and reconnect with friends and customers. As the whole week was cancelled last year due to COVID, missing it this year made it even more of a downer.
One of my traditions during car week is stopping by the Madonna Inn Copper Cafe either on the way up or way down. It's an old-school diner located in San Luis Obispo with food that punches above its weight. Highly recommended if you're passing through!
