Porsche 911 F-Model: 60 Years 1965-1973 - Book Review

Porsche 911 F-Model: 60 Years 1965-1973 - Book Review

Just posted – my review of the new Porsche 911 F-Model: 60 Years, 1965–1973 on the PCA website. It’s a thoughtful, beautifully illustrated look at how the earliest 911s established the blueprint for everything that followed. I was slightly surprised no other publisher to-date has not put out a book on just the first-generation model!

Porsche Juniors: Where Childhood Dreams Take the Wheel

Porsche Juniors: Where Childhood Dreams Take the Wheel

For many Porsche enthusiasts, the love of the brand starts young—whether through toy cars, posters, or even the chance to drive a Porsche Junior. These meticulously crafted miniatures capture the spirit of Porsche in a scaled-down form, making them coveted collectibles and unique heirlooms. Originally introduced in the late 1970s, models like the Porsche 911 Junior and 962 Junior offered young drivers a taste of real performance, featuring working headlights, detailed dashboards, and even gas-powered engines. Debuting at the 1965 Frankfurt Motor Show and hitting the market in 1967, the Porsche 911 Targa featured a...

Porsche 959 Cutaway Poster

Porsche 959 Cutaway Poster

The Porsche 959 was one of the most technologically advanced supercars of its time, featuring cutting-edge all-wheel drive, a twin-turbocharged engine, and advanced aerodynamics. It set new benchmarks for performance and innovation, influencing the design and engineering of future high-performance sports cars. My very patient wife is probably not going to allow me to mortgage the house to acquire one of these mythic beasts, however I now have several period 959 posters just in - and soon to be listed - including this cutaway poster issued by Porsche Cars North America in 1986. Measuring 38.7" x 10.75", it is currently out...
